Have you ever had a majestically bad day?

You know they kind of day where you miss your flight twice, your guitar breaks, your hair is turned an abominable shade of orange or your underwear is both backwards and inside out?

What do you do on those days? No seriously... I’d love to know. But you’re here because you want to know what I do on those majestically bad days. So here we go!

First off, I'm sorry you've had a majestically tragic day... I've had them too.

I think what you should do first is talk to your mom friend, she'll contextualize your problems and make you feel better with logic... and she might mail you cookies. Mine’s name is Amelie, and if I could eat gluten... she’d totally send me some.

Second I would go to my YouTube playlist for dealing with a bad day: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSInWiWo_e8l3pjiZocnEIRSLLJ4MMgG8. This playlist has everything from from Ariana Grande singing "The Wheels on The Bus" in a stunning Christina Aguilera impression to John Green explaining the many ways in which the word has become, believe it or not, a better place. These videos that I’ve been compiling over the last couple of years really give me an emotional boost and a laugh exactly when I need it. Give it a try!

Third, you should also definitely smile and do power poses because according to Ted Talks they make you feel better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks-_Mh1QhMc . Hey, even if they don’t make you feel better, isn’t it funny how coockey you look?

Fourth, watch this hilarious video of me trying and failing to jump over hurdles: https://youtu.be/F8rPrJkLvbA.Let it serve as a reminder to you that even if you fall down... you can still get back up.

Fifth talk to your super dark friend. Mine, is one of my fave people in the world, Jen. She always reminds me that there are people out there who have it waaaay worse than I do and that my situation can be funny if I just try hard enough to see the gold lining (why have a silver lining if you could have gold).

The last thing I recommend you do is listen to TI, because he will let you know that people have ish WAY worse. I know, that’s not what you want to hear on your bad day... but it does help to put your problems in perspective. If you have had a day so bad that "Now you gushin' ambulance rushin’" and that you’ve lost your homebody then... you can sit and relate. Maybe even take a lesson, "No more stress, now I'm straight, now I get it, now I take time to think, before I make mistakes just for my family's sake". Then listen to your favourite song because with the ugly day you’ve had... you earned it.
